The benefits of meditation are too vast to explain them in this post, but when you have time, read the book entitled Waking Up by Sam Harris to understand them.
For the longest time, I tried to meditate, but just couldn’t do it. I have to much of an ‘action brain’ to be able to sit still, or at least, that’s what I thought. You might think the same, but it’s not true.
I urge you to try to meditate, even if for only 5 to 10 minutes each day. This practice will be life-changing.
As of today, I have meditated for 57 days in a row, for a total of 642 minutes, and it has been life changing. The biggest change that I see is that I don’t get as angry as I used to because I am able to be more aware of my emotions and control them better.
Please follow this advice, it’s the best thing you can do for yourself and those around you.
