I am married with three young children ages 10, 7 and 4. I write for a living and create all sorts of content for different audiences. I am also very interested in personal development and living a balanced, low-stress life.
What I realized was that my most important audience is my children, yet sometimes I spend too much time working and forget that.
Since I really like writing, and they are mostly too young to understand some of the important lessons I am learning about life, I decided to author this blog so that anytime I feel like I have something I want to teach them, I can post about it and they will always have access to it, when they are ready.
My grammar and spelling won’t be perfect because it’s for them, and I don’t care about grammar here, I am focused on life lessons.
You are more than welcome to consume this information, but I am writing it for my kids, no one else.
To my kids….
Hi kiddos…I hope you enjoy all of the lessons I am leaving for you on this website. Actually, you don’t have to enjoy them, hopefully you will use the ones that speak to you.
I have chosen the symbol of this site to be a Yin Yang symbol because I want you to always think about living a balanced life on your own terms. Wikipedia (you’ll learn about that site later) defines Yin and Yang as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts. Everything has both yin and yang aspects, (for instance shadow cannot exist without light).
Also I have been using the concept of flywheels in my life and career, and I have constructed a general one that I will use to categorize the lessons I leave for you on this blog. Here it is below. Enjoy the content, it is written solely for you….
