There is a rule called The 80/20 Rule or 80/20 Principle which is based on a proven scientific theory known as Pareto’s Principle. Essentially what it means is that 80% of the meaningful results you generate in your life and career will come from 20% of your efforts.
I live by this rule and I hope you will too. Not because I want you to be like me, but because I don’t want you to waste a lot of your time like most people do.
Focus your time and energy on really important things that drive happiness and balance for you and others who are important to you.
Here are some examples of the 80/20 Principle to make it easier to understand.
You wear 20% of your clothes 80% of the time (yes you do).
Only 20% of what you are learning in school will drive 80% of your career success (but you still have to do all of your homework).
Only 20% of the actions you take in your career will drive 80% of your income. This is why you should focus on finding those 20%.
To help you with this theory, you can of course ask me about it any time, or read (or listen) to the below book which you can grab off of my shelf or buy on Amazon by clicking on it.
Love,
Dad
